IP 170, the reference standard for determining flash point using the ABEL method

This method specifies the ABEL flash point, closed cup, of petroleum products and other liquids with flash points between -30°C and 70°C inclusive. However, the accuracy given by this method is only valid for flash points in the temperature range -5°C to 66.5°C.
