ASTM D 3828, an international standard for determining flash point using the Go/No Go and Ramp methods

These test methods cover procedures for determining the flash point, with a range of -30°C to 300°C, of petroleum products or biodiesel liquid fuels using a small-volume closed cup tester. The procedures can be used to determine whether or not a product ignites at a given temperature, or the flash point of a sample.
